Shred Club is a membership that is available for children aged 5-15 registered to schools in the Folkestone & Hythe district who choose to partner with The Sports Trust. For just £1 a month, Shred Club members will get after-school access (4pm-6pm) to F51’s skatepark floors during term-time.
Our popular Active 50 programme supports people to feel better – physically, mentally and socially. We believe that everyone deserves to feel the huge benefits of sport and fitness, and should access them regardless of age or experience. Our sessions provide the perfect opportunity to get moving and meet friendly people in your local area.
The opportunity to access Shred Club has been offered to every school in the Folkestone & Hythe district. So far, 32 of the 48 schools in the district have signed up.
If your school has signed up to Shred Club, you will be contacted by them with information on how to become a member.
Yes, children within the Folkestone & Hythe district and educated at home can access Shred Club memberships. To register, parents or carers must get a confirmation letter from the Elective Home Education Team, to be shared with us when registering. Letters can be requested by contacting the EHE Team via email.
We are also grateful to all of our partner schools who have supported The Sports Trust’s vision for sport in the community. Together we work hard to champion the limitless positives of physical education and support children and young people as they progress through life, providing safe and accessible opportunities to love being active.
